Algebra 1 is the California 8th grade Math course. This is a course that is required for a student to be accepted into college and is very important in establishing the student’s math foundation. The goals of this class are to develop proficiency with mathematical skills, to expand understanding of mathematical concepts, to improve logical thinking, and to promote success.

We will be using Algebra 1: Concepts, Skills, and Problem solving your textbook. You will need to bring your textbooks to school every day unless I tell you not to bring them.
