Algebra 1 is considered a high school level course. This is a course that is required for a student to be accepted into college and is very important in establishing the student’s math foundation.

The goals of this class are to develop proficiency with mathematical skills, to expand understanding of mathematical concepts, to improve logical thinking, and to promote success. We will be using Algebra: Structure and Method this year as your textbook. You will be expected to have the correct book in class, unless told differently
